Smoother beat-making, a sound pack, pad mutes and the tempo from any screen.
New
- The sound pack: 63 VA sounds in nine styles, each with a demo song, added from the Sounds page.
- Pad mutes on PERFORM: hold SEL and tap white keys 1 to 8.
- The tempo from any screen: hold PLAY and turn K1.
- Hint lines that take turns, so each page shows its hidden moves.
- A toast that names what SHIFT + REC would undo.
- Name a new song before its first save.
Improved
- SHIFT keys act at once: a key pressed with HOME down is a SHIFT key straight away.
- Levels, sends and macros move one step a click; hold SEL for ten.
- Each chord pad plays the chord on its own letter.
- The mix effects switch on and off without a dip.
- A longer pattern repeats what you wrote into its new bars.
- PLAY starts on the press and stops when you let go.
- SEQ on a playing pattern opens its grid; SEQ on the grid switches it off.
- SHIFT + SAVE keeps the pass that just ended, even a beat late.
- Easier to read: the KIT grid says KIT, SEQ's header shows the step, and notes are named as they sound.
Fixed
- A held KIT step key no longer toggles its hit away: a tap toggles, a hold moves the cursor.
- The PAD menu reopens on the row you left, by its name.
- RENAME starts a new name with the first key.
