Sample it

Record a sound, chop it, play it in your groove.

Sample something, chop it across the pads, tune it, put the kit on a track so it plays in your song, then play it across the keys as an instrument. Everything is made on the FM-1.

Comes with the Groove OS 2.0 beta, with five more courses. On your FM-1, tap GLO (SETTINGS), then LEARN. Inside a course, hold GLO for its card.

How to open it.

Four presses, wherever you are. No computer, no internet, nothing to add. Inside a course, hold GLO to show or hide its card; a tap opens SETTINGS.Comes with the Groove OS 2.0 beta.

  1. 01Tap GLO.SETTINGS opens.
  2. 02Turn ALGORITHM to LEARN, the last row, and press SEL.The six courses, in order.
  3. 03Turn ALGORITHM to SAMPLE IT and press SEL.The FM-1 asks first, because the music stops.
  4. 04Turn ALGORITHM to START and press SEL.The course begins at its first step, on a fresh project. Your saved projects stay as they are; the course takes a project slot only if you save it at the end.
